We're off in a few minutes.
Got a red-eye flight tonight from Oakland to Dulles, because that was half the cost of flying into Roanoke, and we can fly it direct. We decided we'd rather drive four hours on the other side than make a connection.
We'll crash at my parents' tomorrow morning in a few hours, which should nicely synch us onto con time, drive down to Blacksburg in the afternoon.
Oh, and parking at an offsite lot near the Oakland airport costs nearly as much as our rental car in Virginia. Parking AT the airport, well, you couldn't afford it.
