Why do so many of my webcomics seem to be on filler / hiatus status? I know I shouldn't be complaining, since it's not like I'm actually paying for anything, but it strikes me as odd:
Sluggy Freelance is on Guest artist week for something like the fifteenth time this year. I swear it's been more filler than Abrams lately. Not that that's necessarily a bad thing; ever since the beginning of the "Ocean's Unmoving" Saga, I've thought the guest strips were better than the actual ones.
Due to stuff happening in Jeff Darlington's life, GPF has been updating only once a week for several months. Got to the last chapter of this storyline and the end is just plodding along.
Goats is also on Guest artist week, though this is a less common occurence.
Ozy and Millie is just sketches this week. This is the comic that went on a few months hiatius immediately upon my completion of the archives.
I've learned to accept that Megatokyo never updates on time. At first, I thought this was another comic I'd broken by reading the archives.
Those about half the ones I read. Again, I have no right to be annoyed, since they're free, but why are the artists all having mental breakdowns at the same time? (Although in Fred Gallagher's case that seems to be his default state)
