Fire and Water

Right. We're in a drought season right now. Yet all the sprinkler systems are going all the time, even when it is raining. And as usual, most of the water goes onto the sidewalk. I've been obliged to walk in the middle of the road to get to the bus stop without getting wet because the f$ck-knuckles who designed the sprinklers can't aim them. Meanwhile, all of our firefighters have been sent to Iraq. Bloody Brilliant.

Renaissance Faire

Went to the Colorado Renaissance Faire today. Left early so there was no traffic, we got there right as the ticket counter opened and we parked about 50 feet from the entrance. Couldn't find the shirt I'd bought there last year (may have left it at Technicon), so I bought another one. Expected to have more to say, but can't think of it. Not as good as the MD or VA faires, but still fun. Oh, I suck at throwing axes.
