Coffee

So, I tried out the new burr grinder I got this weekend and discovered there's a big ol' crack in the carafe of my coffee maker. I could just get a replacement carafe, but the machine was only like $15 to begin with and a new carafe would probably cost the same amount. I was never thrilled with it to begin with. So I'm in the market for a new machine. I'd like to get a good one this time. A combo coffee/espresso machine would be nifty, but I don't want to waste any more money on El Cheapo models.

Any recommendations?
