Car

Well, took it into the dealership today. Was called later and informed that the problem actually is a faulty airbag deployment sensor. That's easy to replace, but they have to order it. Also it's expensive. Like $700. I'm pretty sure I'm getting fleeced. Really? $700 for a sensor? The car only cost like $11k new. Is a sensor really worth 6% of the car? Also, they have to order it? They're the dealership! If they don't have it, who does. Do they have to special order it from the factory?

Anyway, despite the fact that I'm probably getting ripped off, I'm still going pay to have it fixed. Because I'm that dumb. I'm going back to Salinas tomorrow to get my car until the part is in. There's no point in paying for a rental for a whole week.

And to think I just paid off the credit card today. I was hoping to start moving money into savings or making double payments on the Prius, but that'll have to wait a bit longer.
