Yay, biscuits!
Finally made decent biscuits today. Good, not great. But the best by far I've had in a long time. The last time I made biscuits I was low on butter, and made up the difference with shortening. Shortening that was evidently past its prime. That put me off biscuits for a while.
I haven't made a real post in a long time. Just bellyaching about code / cars, and an announcement about the pregnancy. Here's a bit more on other things.

Well, I've got to get to work for tomorrow's class and making up the next homework assignment. I don't know how public school teachers do it, teaching all day every day. I'm spending all my time doing prep, and I'm only in the classroom 3 and a half hours a week.
