Totally slipped my mind with all else going on, but MESSENGER made its second flyby of Mercury this morning. http://www.jhuapl.edu/newscenter/pressreleases/2008/081001.asp

Orbit insertion is still over two years away.

Note that this mission is managed by APL, where I'm moving to. Maybe I'll get to get in on it.
